BS, NSCA-CPT, AASDN-NS
Blake’s passion for health and fitness ignited in high school while playing football under a coach whose mission was to teach his players how to live and perform better both on and off the field. Inspired by the increased strength and athletic performance he experienced applying the principles learned from his coach, Blake started a community weight loss group in his neighborhood and helped dozens of his family and friends lose weight and improve their health and mobility.
Blake holds a BS in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology from Berry College. While there he earned his first certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Condition Association (NSCA) and a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN). Throughout his college career, he worked with collegiate athletes as a Personal Trainer in the Strength and Conditioning Department of Berry’s Athletic Program and trained a variety of populations in one on one and small group settings at Berry’s public fitness facility.
Blake utilizes his education and years of experience to teach his clients how to live healthier lives by developing regular exercise and proper nutrition habits. He loves working with beginners, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the basics of fitness. His passion is working with clients of special populations, including amputees, the blind, and those post-rehabilitation, who are determined to meet their goals despite various setbacks that most people would use as excuses not to exercise. Helping clients overcome obstacles and accomplish their goals is his favorite part of his job.
